Join us for the annual Inter-school and Community HEALTH EXPO, a celebration of community wellness and digital innovation for a healthier future! Sponsored by the Local Government Unit in collaboration with the city/municipal chapter of CLUB YELLOW TOPS – The Internet Computer Club of Global Frontiers Institute.
Event Highlights:
- Barangay Health Innovation Showcase: Featuring local action units’ health promotion initiatives and video productions.
- English, Math, and Science Excellence Zone: Showcasing projects demonstrating the application of these subjects to health and wellness.
- Health Screening and Recommendations Area: Offering free health screenings and personalized recommendations from healthcare professionals.
- “Most Improved Health Profile” App Showcase: Highlighting success stories of individuals and communities improving their health.
- Community Health Leadership Workshop: Empowering barangay officials and community leaders.
- Digital Health Literacy Workshop: Teaching community members to find and use online health information effectively.
- Expert Health Talks: Discussions on substance abuse prevention, mental health, nutrition, and the principles of BZP101.
- Community Recognition Ceremony: Awarding barangays for outstanding contributions to community health.
Call for Volunteers & Activations!
We are seeking passionate volunteers to participate in:
- Activating CLUB YELLOW TOPS Chapters in every city/municipality.
- Activating local action units in every barangay nationwide.
- Sponsorship and patronage of the annual subscription of HEALTH & HOME – The National Journal of Better Living.
- Establishing Health & HOME Center of Influence.
- Creating CHAW TAYO (Comprehensive Health Assessment and Wellness Promotion Clinic).
- Organizing Nutrition Education and Plant-based cooking classes.
- Running FREE FOOD STATIONS and FOOD PANTRIES for the poor.
- Online formation and onsite activation of volunteer training groups and support organizations of the HEALTH & HOME Center of Influence in the barangay.
